As a Data Analyst for the Railroad Positive Train Control (PTC) Operations Support Team , your role will be to support the implementation and ongoing operations of the PTC system. You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to train operations, system performance, and overall PTC functionality. Your insights and recommendations will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the railroad's PTC system. Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a railroad or transportation-related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex data sets, apply statistical techniques, and draw actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar technologies.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with railroad operations, signaling systems, train control technologies, or Positive Train Control is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
