Parts ManagerThe Parts Manager is knowledgeable about automotive parts and accessories and can accurately answer questions and satisfy customer requirements in person or on the phone. He/she locates automotive parts within the current inventory or from other sources (such as the internet, vendors, other dealerships, etc.) and arranges for delivery.The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and experience with automotive parts and accessories. Candidates must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong customer service and organizational skills, strong phone and computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.ResponsibilitiesPoint-of-contact for all parts employeesOrder stock and emergency partsLocate accessories or partsMonitors parts inventory and ensures storage areas are in good conditionMaintains accurate documentation of all transactionsProvides timely and accurate reports as requiredOversees the proper processing of documentation, including PO, invoices, work orders, reports, etc.Enforces organizational safety standardsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications5–10 years of dealership-level parts & accessories experienceHigh school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education or coursework desiredWorking knowledge of the industryExcellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure in any situationStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsHelpful attitude and friendly demeanorHighly professional and dependableStrong computer skillsNeat, clean, and professional appearanceUnrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
