Description Grassland Dairy is growing, and we’re looking for Building Maintenance professionals to join our team! With continued growth and recent retirements, we have opportunities for dependable, skilled individuals who take pride in keeping our facilities safe, functional, and well maintained. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you’ll play an important role in supporting our daily operations through hands‑on maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our facilities and grounds. This position is ideal for someone with a strong maintenance background who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working in a team‑oriented environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices. Perform general painting and upkeep of walls and floors. Perform low-voltage electrical work, including changing light bulbs and fixtures (240V or less). Maintain and repair facility entryway, interior, and overhead doors. Maintain and repair facility floors, concrete, and tiling. Perform general cleaning, inspection, maintenance, and repair of facility roof systems. Assist Refrigeration Technicians and HVAC personnel as needed. Perform general groundskeeping duties, including snow removal and water drainage. Operate powered industrial vehicles, which may include forklifts, scissor lifts, and floor scrubbers. On occasion, backfill other positions or departments as operational needs arise. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, with a rotating weekend schedule every third weekend. Additional weekend or after‑hours call‑in may be required as needed to support business and operational needs. Wages Compensation for this position is commensurate with education, experience, and relevant qualifications.
