Job Summary

Level I: 0-3 years. Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance or research setting.

Responsibilities

Perform routine quantitative and qualitative biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures
Make measurements and conduct routine laboratory testing
Assist higher-level technicians in setup of laboratory equipment
Record data for experiments and procedures
Use various instruments to prepare for and perform tests
Perform routine safety program checks and preventive maintenance on instruments
