FTE: 0.6  Shift: Days  Schedule: Variable schedule Position Summary The Medical Lab Technician (MLT) is an exciting technical opportunity at MultiCare. In this role, you will perform a dynamic range of daily work functions including patient analytical laboratory testing, quality control, data analysis, and technical problem resolution. Responsibilities Receive specimens, establish and maintain positive identification of specimens. Determine suitability of specimen; may reject specimens. Acquire and prepare reagents as needed. Perform instrument maintenance and calibration. Requirements Associate degree. Current certification as Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP)CM or MLT (ASCP) or registry eligible. Current Medical Assistant‑Phlebotomist certification or eligibility (if duties include phlebotomy). Minimum one (1) year of previous laboratory experience preferred. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. Pay scale is $27.25 - $41.49 USD. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale corresponding to the applicant’s years of experience.
