Job Requirements

• Board certification required
• At least 1 year of relevant physician experience required
• Experience in medical oncology, inpatient oncology, or hospital-based cancer care preferred
• Ability to work a 7 on/7 off inpatient physician schedule
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Eligibility for Idaho medical licensure; open to licensing
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient medical oncology care to patients in a 10-bed unit
• Round on hospitalized oncology patients and manage daily clinical needs
• Collaborate closely with the dedicated Oncology APP to support efficient patient care
• Document patient care, progress notes, and treatment plans in Epic
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective inpatient treatment
• Deliver focused coverage without outpatient responsibilities or 24-hour call
