RN for Pre-Op Block Area
RN for the Pre-Op Block area. Will be admitting, assisting with block and monitoring post block. Duties include: initiate admission assessments on new residents/hospital returns & initiates initial care plan. Assist with the development & direction of the Nursing Department as directed by the DON. Review PRI's & coordinate all components of the admission process with the interdisciplinary team. Responsible for auditing records to ascertain compliance with facility standards. Will participate in discharge planning when necessary. Review & evaluate residents' care plans when conditions warrant a change as necessary. Perform required charting according to policy/procedure. Complete MDS, care plans and other documents as assigned. Maintain the confidentiality of all resident information as per HIPAA and corporate guidelines. May be assigned to supervise or direct resident care as necessary. Must have EPIC experience! Please note on submission to prevent any delays! Thank you!

- EPIC Experience - Required
- Experience with conscious sedation and preprocedural experience (admissions) and blocks - Required
- PALS - Preferred
Profile Requirements:
- Work History Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, PERM ADDRESS - Facility will not pend license/certs)
