Job Title: Sandwich Shop & Ice Cream Parlor Manager

Location: Laurel/Maryland
Reports to: Owner

Position Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on, energetic Manager to lead daily operations at our busy sandwich shop and ice cream parlor. This is a working manager role where you will spend time on the sandwich line while leading a small team to deliver fast, friendly service and exceptional product quality.

Key Responsibilities :

Work the sandwich line, preparing high-quality sandwiches.
Oversee and coach a team of employees, including training and performance management.
Maintain excellent customer satisfaction by resolving issues quickly and ensuring a welcoming environment.
Manage daily operations including opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
Oversee inventory control, ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
Drive sales and uphold high standards for food quality, presentation, and service speed.

Requirements :

Previous management or supervisory experience in food service (sandwich or fast-casual experience preferred).
Strong customer service skills and a positive, upbeat attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate plus Tips.
