Precision CNC Milling Specialist (3- & 5-Axis)

Your day as a Precision CNC Milling SpecialistYou clock in, review a challenging print, and decide whether a 3-axis or 5-axis setup gets the job done best. You load fixtures, touch off tools, set work offsets, and fine-tune the controller. As the first chips fly, you’re already checking dimensions with calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators, making smart program edits and offset tweaks to hold tight tolerances. When the run is complete, you button up preventive maintenance and leave the area spotless for the next project.What you’ll doIndependently set up, adjust, and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machinesInterpret blueprints and engineering drawings to achieve exacting specificationsEnter offsets, edit G/M code at the controller, and make in-process adjustmentsVerify dimensions during machining using calipers, micrometers, and dial indicatorsTroubleshoot equipment and perform basic preventive maintenanceKeep a clean, organized, and safe work areaWhat you bring3+ years of CNC milling experience on 3-axis and/or 5-axis equipmentFluency in blueprint reading and working to tight tolerancesStrong shop math and exceptional attention to detailHands-on experience with Fanuc, Fidia C20, Siemens, Haas, or comparable controlsWorking knowledge of CNC programming (G-code and M-code)This is craftsmanship, not repetitive production work.
