Full-Time or Part-Time | School-Based Opportunity Setting: Preschool & School-Age Program (Ages 3–12)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to join a supportive, New York State–approved educational program serving preschool and school-age students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for an SLP who is passionate about helping young learners build communication and language skills within a collaborative, multidisciplinary school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to students ages 3–12
• Support expressive and receptive language development
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, BCBA, and clinical staff
• Participate in evaluations, progress monitoring, and team meetings
• Utilize evidence-based strategies, including PECS and communication supports
• Contribute to a nurturing, high-support educational environment

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• New York State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
• TSSLD Certification
• Fluent in Spanish
• Experience with preschool and/or school-age students preferred
• Comfort working with children with developmental and intellectual disabilities
