About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for a local touch-freight opportunity in Taylor, Michigan. This role offers consistent Monday-through-Friday work, home-daily opportunities, and a dedicated support team through TransForce.

Pay & Schedule

Pay rate: $26 per hour
Estimated weekly pay: $1,040
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with no weekends
Start time: Between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Hours per week: 40
Overnight schedule: One overnight stay per week on Mondays
Hotel accommodations provided for the Monday overnight stay
$40 per diem for the overnight stay

Job Details

Freight: Palletized pet food and supplies
Delivery locations: Veterinary clinics and local pet stores throughout Michigan
Equipment: Automatic truck with a 26-foot trailer
Handling: Heavy touch freight using hand carts, pallet jacks, and lift gates
Employment type: Temp to perm

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate an automatic tractor-trailer on assigned routes.
Deliver palletized pet food and supplies to veterinary clinics and local pet stores.
Load, unload, and move freight using hand carts, pallet jacks, and lift gates.
Maintain safe and professional delivery practices.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Steel-toed boots preferred.
