Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Golden, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The position requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health teaching and counseling, and executing delegated medical functions. It is a night shift position with scheduled hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 1900 to 0700, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing), graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current RN license in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing, additional certifications as appropriate for the unit or service, previous experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred).
• Additional Information: The nurse may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on operational needs. Some on-call duties during scheduled shifts may be required. Responsibilities include reviewing and monitoring therapy and treatment plans, using clinical resources effectively, and documenting in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
