X-ray Technologist in St. Louis, MO. This position involves assisting radiologists and physicians in performing interventional and special procedures, including general X-ray, fluoroscopy, surgery support with C-arms and O-arms, and multiple other diagnostic imaging tasks. The role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details

• Position: Radiology X-ray Technologist
• Location: St. Louis, MO
• Schedule: Evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program; ARRT certification; BLS certification from AHA; 2-5 years of relevant hospital experience with patient populations across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and operating room settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE equipment; strong communication skills; ability to perform surgery procedures using C-arms and O-arms.
• Additional Information: Must be available for orientation on day shift prior to start. The role involves performing a variety of procedures using radiographic equipment, working independently and within a team, and providing essential patient care. Night shift orientation is mandatory and the traveler must be available all week for this purpose. The position may require float between areas such as Operating Room, Gastroenterology, minors, and inpatient/outpatient units.
• Certifications: BLS from AHA required
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant hospital-based experience preferred
