Full Stack Developer (Remote) at GovCIO

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Sr. Full Stack Developer for a new program award. This position will be full-time and fully remote. Responsibilities Work as a Full Stack Developer to sustain one of VA’s legal case/matter and accreditation management systems. Participate in planning of system and development deployment and ensure software compliance standards. Design graphical user interfaces (GUI) to meet user needs. Prepare operating instructions, document program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Build add-on modules using application programming languages as needed. Design and code applications following specifications using appropriate tools. Maintain and modify existing software applications. Analyze detailed system factors, including input/output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements, and alternative problem resolution methods. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and specifications. Write or revise program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides in accordance with standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot production application issues. Promote and drive innovation in technologies, processes, and tools. Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Teams in requirements decomposition, backlog refinement, and breakdown of user stories and tasks. Engage with stakeholders and subject-matter experts in support of the Product Owner. Use unit and integration testing to ensure systems meet business needs. Develop and deliver software that impacts the lives of millions of American Veterans and their families. Interface with internal and Government management personnel. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience: Experience with Angular and/or React. Experience with integrations between legacy and modernized systems. Posted Pay Range The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
