Position Overview:

• Part-time or full-time Physical Therapist position located in Pocahontas, IA
• Full-time benefits starting at 30 hours per week
• The setting will consist of both inpatient and outpatient with some home health within a community based hospital
• Hospital is breaking ground in the Spring of 2027 for a brand new therapy department
• Pay range: $36+/hour , depending on experience
• Sign-on bonus or student loan assistant available
• 2 hours from Sioux City and Des Moines Iowa
• This position may qualify for additional income bonus or student loan repayment through Iowa’s Health Care Professional Incentive Program : -ed/health-care-professional-incentive-program

Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients
• Complete documentation
• Plan, market and develop new programs
• Communicate with patients, patients’ families and physicians and staff
• Present in-services to fellow staff therapists
• Assist in the general operation of the department

Physical Therapist Job Requirements:

• Bachelors (B.A., B.S. ), Master’s degree (M.A., M.S. ) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy
• Graduate of a certified physical therapy program
• Possess or be eligible for state licensure
