SD_Facilities Technician

My name is Avery, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Facilities Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in San Diego, CA of the position are as follows:


Job Description:

• Pay: $27-38 an/hr
• 12 Month Assignment possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget
• Mon-Fri
• The position will mainly be responsible for maintain building related equipment and R&D lab support activities.
• The position will support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all Genetech Facilities, including the management of building utilities (HVAC, compressed air, house vacuum, microbulk CO2 tank, and access control system)
• The position will manage service providers for regular service visits and after-hour emergency calls
• The position will perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance rounds for assigned tasks and complete all logs and paperwork associated.
• The position will manage company assets that require asset tagging and work with multiple departments to provide proper classification
• The position will prepare job estimates for customers including time and material costs.
• The position will ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies and develop and maintain equipment maintenance logs as new systems are added.
• The position will manage all WO documentation in the CMMS and document management systems.
• The position will follow standard operating procedures as needed when working in both R&D and GMP environments.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required!
• 4+ years of related experience
• Experience using Siemens Desigo Building Management system or similar software
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
