Construction Laborer (BLUvera)

Job Title: Construction Laborer Job Description As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for the production process involved in creating underground Concrete Duct Bank boxes. You will play a crucial role in various stages of production, depending on your assigned tasks. Responsibilities Set up and tie in rebar, preparing it for the next station. Assist in creating forms by cutting and measuring materials. Clean and oil forms before and after each assembly. Assist with pouring concrete, positioning it correctly, and handling vibrating tools to ensure it settles flush in the forms. Finish the concrete once the box is complete and begin the curing process. Conduct general cleanup throughout the facility, including broom work, picking up trash, and moving materials to different staging lanes. Essential Skills Experience in construction and general labor. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and kneel. Capability to lift 50lbs or more to or near head level. Skill in carrying materials such as tools, boxes, and wood boards. Proficiency in using hand tools and landscaping equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in concrete work, whether residential or commercial. Osha 10 or any related certifications are a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role involves both indoor and outdoor work on an open construction site. You will deal with various conditions, including mud, wetness, and cold during the colder months, as well as hot temperatures in the summer. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00/hr.
