Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Travel Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient adolescent psychiatry and be capable of working in a dynamic 44-bed behavioral health facility. Floating between Adolescent and Geriatric Behavioral Health units is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical activities in assigned units, ensuring adherence to nursing standards and philosophy.
• Formulate and monitor unit budgets, including personnel and operating expenses.
• Directly oversee staffing and scheduling of nursing personnel.
• Supervise the delivery of patient care by nursing staff.
• Coordinate orientations and educational needs for staff members.
• Foster positive relationships with other disciplines and promote public relations for the Nursing Department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification required.
• Inpatient Adolescent Psych experience required.
• De-escalation training/certification required; SAFE Training Course available onsite if needed.
