For employees, this means joining a company where scientific quality, operational excellence, compliance, collaboration, and customer focus all come together to support work that matters.The primary objective for this position is to work as part of the shipping/receiving team to check in all incoming packages using company database and to ensure all outgoing packages are packed correctly and accurately on a daily basis.Job PurposeProcess incoming shipment of biological materialsRecord that incoming shipments match with expected shipmentsOrganize biological materials in appropriate freezers and refrigerators, so other team members are able to find themLabel outgoing biological materials with correct labels, and secure them for future shippingPackage materials according to all IATA PILabel outgoing packages with correct labels in compliance with DOT/IATA specificationsPackage secured biological materials with either dry ice or cold packsSecure package, to make sure it travels safely towards destinationConstantly check and make sure that the department is stocked with supplies and packagesNotify Shipping Manager when supplies are neededKeep warehouse neatly organized and clean at all timesRequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust have great organization and analytical skillsMust be comfortable working with biological materialsMust have great interpersonal and communication skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office is a plusMust be a creative and positive individualYou are a team player.
