Laboratory Supervisor

Eurofins Discovery seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to lead scientific teams and oversee daily operations for ADMET toxicology studies. The role combines hands-on technical work with staff development, process improvement, and client partnership in a contract research setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily laboratory operations balancing people, equipment, schedules, and priorities to meet client commitments and quality standards
• Coach and develop laboratory staff through technical guidance, training, competency assessment, and career development
• Ensure compliance with approved procedures, quality requirements, EH&S standards, and applicable regulations
• Monitor performance metrics, identify operational risks, and lead process improvements for quality and productivity gains
• Oversee equipment, automation platforms, laboratory supplies, inventory, and departmental financial management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6 years relevant experience; Master's with 4 years; or Ph.D. with 2 years
• At least 3 years direct experience with cell-based toxicology assays in CRO or industry laboratory
• Demonstrated leadership of laboratory operations and scientific teams with workload planning and performance management
• Experience developing, validating, or transferring bioanalytical methods per FDA, ICH, or OECD guidance
• Hands-on expertise with LC-MS, LC-UV, high-throughput analytical methods, or mass spectrometry in ADME/DMPK
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and process improvement initiatives in laboratory settings
• Technical knowledge of metabolomics in pharmaceutical drug metabolism
