Compliance Director

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the full-time remote Compliance Director will manage the compliance program, ensuring adherence to regulations while advising on privacy and security considerations across the organization. Key responsibilities Own and enforce the compliance program, including policy development, monitoring, and reporting on federal, state, and local regulations Maintain SOC 2 attestation and manage customer and partner IT/security assessments, collaborating with Engineering/IT for technical implementation Serve as a point of contact for compliance-related inquiries from customers and partners, providing guidance and training to internal teams on data-sharing issues Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in compliance, privacy, or commercial regulatory roles, preferably in biopharma or pharma-services Expert knowledge of HIPAA, SOC 2, and CCPA/CPRA, with familiarity in GDPR and relevant industry codes Proven experience managing SOC 2 attestations and third-party/data use agreements Bachelor's degree required Strong analytical skills and project management ability in a fast-paced environment
