Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients' health status before, during, and after delivery.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs continuously.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care instructions.
  
  
• 
  Float to other units as needed, including overflow from the Progressive Care Unit.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience in Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, or related units.
  
  
• 
  Ability to adapt to different units and handle variable patient needs.
  
  
• 
  Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  
  
• 
  Flexibility to work night shifts.
