What You'll Do

• Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event specifications.
• Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of banquet functions.
• Provide attentive food and beverage service while anticipating guest needs.
• Deliver an elevated hospitality experience through professional, friendly, and personalized service.
• Communicate guest allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests to the culinary team.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to questions or concerns.
• Prepare service stations, including coffee, beverages, condiments, garnishes, and supplies.
• Maintain clean, organized banquet spaces throughout each event by clearing tables, resetting service areas, and replenishing supplies.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Read and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) accurately to ensure seamless event execution.
• Collaborate with Banquet Captains, culinary teams, and fellow team members to provide exceptional service.
• Assist with side work, including rolling silverware, stocking supplies, polishing serviceware, and maintaining banquet equipment.
• Provide general property information and assist guests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Support teammates and other departments to ensure every event is successful.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Bring foundational experience in banquet service, fine dining, catering, hotels, country clubs, or other upscale hospitality environments, with a strong understanding of elevated food and beverage service and guest expectations.
• Successfully perform the essential physical requirements of the role, including prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and safely moving up to 50 pounds throughout a shift.
• Maintain the flexibility and availability needed to support a part-time, event-driven schedule. Because banquet staffing is driven by business demand, consistent availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential to maximizing scheduled work opportunities.
• Execute every event with an unwavering commitment to quality, food safety, sanitation, and attention to detail while upholding the highest hospitality standards.
• Deliver polished, professional service that reflects the expectations of upscale events and creates memorable experiences for every guest.
