This role is responsible for driving market share growth, strengthening executive-level relationships, and developing new business opportunities within the sports and entertainment ecosystem. The position requires a strategic sales professional who can deliver measurable revenue results while positioning Choice Hotels’ value proposition to key decision-makers. This role operates with significant autonomy and is accountable for achieving individual revenue targets and expanding long-term customer partnerships.**RESPONSIBILITIES***Account Management** Manage and grow a portfolio of sports accounts to increase revenue production and market share* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive long-term partnerships* Analyze account performance, customer trends, and market dynamics to inform strategic growth plans* Conduct regular strategic account reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)* Retain and expand existing accounts through proactive engagement, renewals, and value-based selling* Deliver solutions that balance customer needs with franchisee performance and profitability*Business Development** Identify and develop new business opportunities within the sports segment through networking, events, and proactive outreach* Qualify and prioritize prospects based on revenue potential, business needs, and buying readiness* Position Choice Hotels’ brands and solutions to meet customer objectives and drive incremental room night revenue* Manage full sales cycle including prospecting, relationship development, and deal advancement* Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to refine strategy and strengthen market positioning*Account Administration & Sales Execution** Maintain accurate Salesforce/CRM records including pipeline, contacts, forecasts, and account activity* Leverage CRM insights and performance data to inform forecasting and strategic decisions* Develop and maintain account plans, relationship maps, and growth strategies* Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage renewals to support revenue growth* Lead QBRs and planning sessions to align on performance and future opportunities* Participate in training to stay current on sales tools, systems, and brand offerings**QUALIFICATIONS*** Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, hospitality, or event-driven industries* Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience* Demonstrated experience managing large account portfolios and delivering measurable revenue growth* Experience working with complex sales cycles and high-value accounts* Proven ability to meet or exceed individual sales quotas and revenue targets* Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms* Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities* Familiarity with sales performance metrics and pipeline management tools* Competitive, results-driven mindset with strong resilience and grit* Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills* Strategic thinking with ability to identify and act on growth opportunities* Strong business acumen and ability to influence decision-makers* Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally**SALARY RANGE**The salary range for this position is $82,500 to $110,000 annually plus commission via participation in Choice’s Global Sales Incentive Plan.### Choice prioritizes our associate wellbeing by offering a comprehensive benefits program that is both competitive and flexible to help you achieve your wellbeing goals - here are just a few:* Competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage* Leave and paid time-off for holidays, vacation, personal, family, volunteer, sick, jury duty, bereavement, military, and religious observance* Financial benefits for retirement and health savings* Employee recognition programs* Discounts at Choice hotels worldwide**About Choice**Choice Hotels International, Inc.
