Occupational Health Paramedic (Full-Time)

Location: South Bend, Indiana

This role offers a unique shift from reactive emergency care to proactive injury prevention, workforce health, and safety collaborationall within a structured, full-time schedule.

About the Role

As the on-site medical professional, youll operate from a dedicated clinic and serve as the primary resource for worker health and safety. Youll work independently while partnering closely with site leadership to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

This is not a traditional ambulance role.
Instead, youll build relationships, provide ongoing care, and help prevent injuries before they happen.

What Youll Do

• Assess, triage, and treat workplace injuries and illnesses
• Provide first aid and emergency medical response as needed
• Maintain accurate medical records and OSHA documentation
• Perform occupational health testing
• Monitor worker health and provide follow-up care
• Support workers compensation and risk management processes
• Collaborate with safety teams to promote a culture of prevention
• Coordinate with local EMS when higher-level care is required

What You Bring

• Current State Paramedic License
  
• Willingness to obtain within 90 days company provided OSHA-30 certification
• 1-2+ years of experience as a licensed healthcare provider
• Experience in emergency, industrial, or occupational health settings (preferred)
• Valid drivers license in good standing
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
