Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) ManagerTrilogy Communications is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead all safety and compliance initiatives at its Pearl, Mississippi facility. This role partners closely with site leadership to drive a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote continuous improvement in environmental, health, and safety performance. The EHS Manager serves as a trusted advisor, coach, and resource to leadership and employees, with a focus on building awareness, engagement, and accountability around EHS programs and practices.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of EHS programs, policies, and proceduresEnsure full compliance with OSHA and all applicable federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulationsManage EHS data, reporting, and documentation; analyze trends to drive proactive improvementsInvestigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; implement corrective and preventative actionsConduct routine safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments throughout the facilityDevelop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levelsPartner with site leadership to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvementMaintain accurate EHS records, including training logs, incident reports, and compliance documentationSupport workers' compensation programs, return-to-work initiatives, and injury managementStay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure ongoing complianceParticipate in internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of findingsCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, and leadership on EHS initiativesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field preferredMinimum of 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environmentHands-on experience supporting production floor operations and facilitiesStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance requirementsExperience conducting audits, incident investigations, and safety trainingCertification such as CSP, CIH, or equivalent preferredLean / Six Sigma Green Belt experience is a plusSkills & Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutionsExcellent leadership, coaching, and communication skillsAbility to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organizationProactive, self-motivated, and highly organizedStrong attention to detail with effective documentation and reporting skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management systemsWorking Conditions:Combination of office and manufacturing floor environmentExposure to noise and production equipment; PPE required when onsiteAbility to lift up to 25 lbs as neededAbility to sit, stand, walk, and work on a computer for extended periodsFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
