Case Manager, Family Preservation Services

Job Details Job Location: Pittsburg KS Office - Pittsburg, KS 66762 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $49,500.00 per year Responsibilities Carry a caseload of 12-15 families with assistance from a Family Support Worker. Meet at least weekly with families in the home and meet each child alone at least monthly to address safety, well-being and progress on case plan activities. Be available to families to help with any crisis or conflict that may arise. Develop Family Case Plan (and Child Case Plan when necessary) and coach families toward completing case plan tasks. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in social work or another human services related field (Master’s degree preferred). At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening. Valid driver’s license in the state where you reside, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with children and families. About the Role The Family Preservation Services (FPS) Case Manager works in families' homes to teach them skills such as problem-solving, crisis management, parenting, communication, budgeting, home maintenance, and life skills. The role also connects families to community resources to stabilize and increase their support system.
