Role: Lead Desktop Engineer Client : Elite Buy-Side Trading Firm Compensation: Up to $300k USD + Bonus Location: NYC (Hybrid) Overview A Technology Driven Trading Firm is looking for a highly talented Lead Desktop Engineer with financial services experience to join and lead an elite group of individuals. The Role Leading a small team across all L1-L3 issues while driving mission-critical infrastructure projects and automation. Key responsibilities include: Leading a small team across all L1-L3 issues Spending time working on mission-critical infrastructure projects Automating anything and everything Continuing to expand both their on-prem and cloud storage offering Working across different OS Requirements 6+ years of experience as a Desktop Engineer/Systems Administrator within financial services - ideally for a trading firm Some experience leading a small team and being the contact point to the business Strong knowledge of automation (e.g., PowerShell) Good understanding of the Windows Infrastructure stack (Server, O365, AD) Experience with VMware or Hyper V Familiarity with storage is a plus (both on-prem and cloud) A Computer Science Degree is heavily advantageous but not essential What’s on Offer Cutting-edge tech and ownership of multiple greenfield projects No red tape A friendly/collaborative environment Beautiful offices Personal projects on Fridays!
