Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary Function to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary function testing, including 6-minute walk testing and oxygen titrations.
• Collect and analyze arterial blood gas samples accurately.
• Administer aerosol therapy and manage high flow nasal cannula systems.
• Interpret complex respiratory diagnostic tests such as lung volumes and spirometry.
• Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy administration to adult patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and maintain documentation in EPIC.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Hold an NC RRT license; applicants must have license in hand.
• Experience with pulmonary function lab processes required.
• Preferred experience with EPIC charting system.
• Strongly prefer experience with 6-minute walk testing and oxygen titrations.
