Job Title Senior Water Engineer – West Palm Beach, FL Location West Palm Beach, FL Job Type Hybrid Requisition ID 11245 Job Summary Stanley Consultants seeks a Senior Water Engineer to serve as a technical and project leader for water and wastewater initiatives across the US Virgin Islands, ensuring quality, schedule, and client outcomes at each project phase. Responsibilities Lead multi‑disciplinary teams in the planning and delivery of water and wastewater projects across the US Virgin Islands. Collaborate effectively with civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls, structural, and CAD disciplines in the development of project plans and specifications. Provide engineering support during the procurement and execution of projects. Conduct occasional fieldwork, including site investigations and client meetings; travel will be required. Interface with equipment suppliers to prepare materials and equipment specifications. Consistently manage and deliver projects on time and within budget. Manage and mentor staff. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering; a Master of Science (MS) degree is preferred. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida and the US Virgin Islands is required, or must be obtainable within 6 months of hire. Demonstrated regional and technical expertise in water and wastewater engineering; preferred experience in water distribution, transmission, and storage; wastewater conveyance; pump stations; hydraulic modeling; and asset management. Strong verbal communication, computer proficiency, and organizational capabilities. Ability to effectively communicate in both in-person and virtual formats. Excellent technical writing skills.
