Comprehensive Medicine is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a unique hybrid role combining mobile house calls and in-clinic care . If you’re looking for autonomy, variety, and meaningful patient relationships , this is not your typical primary care position.

We are a well-established, independent Internal Medicine practice serving San Diego County with a focus on quality, continuity of care, and treating patients like family—not numbers.

What You’ll Do

Clinic-Based Care (Alpine Office)

• Provide primary care + urgent care services
• Perform procedures including suturing, wound care, IV therapy
• Utilize on-site X-ray, labs, and diagnostics
• Collaborate with a tight-knit, experienced care team

Mobile House Calls (San Diego County)

• Deliver primary care to patients in assisted living, retirement communities, and private homes
• Coordinate with labs, imaging providers, home health, and hospice teams
• Build strong patient relationships through personalized, in-home care

What We’re Looking For

• Active California NP or PA license
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or internal medicine preferred
• Comfortable with procedures (suturing, IVs, wound care)
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills (Athena EMR a plus)
• Compassionate, patient-first mindset
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

Compensation & Benefits

• $130K–$165K base salary
• 80 hours PTO (year 1) → 120 hours after year 1
• $500 CME allowance
• Mileage reimbursement
