Maintenance Mechanic 3rd Shift

salary: $76,000 - $87,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, processing equipment, and filling systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial fillers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and related production equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot air compressors, boilers, steam systems, and hot and cold water systems.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of refrigeration systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and mechanical drawings.
• Identify equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement effective repairs to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Perform equipment inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues, completed repairs, and outstanding work to the maintenance team.
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and applicable food safety and sanitation standards.
• Work closely with production personnel to ensure equipment operates reliably and production schedules are maintained.
