Position Summary Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Tours stores and provides feedback, communicates, and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations using technology and business initiatives. Introduces and leads company change efforts, provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicates business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives such as the store of the community and community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved, and developing action plans to correct deficiencies. Provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high‑quality customer experience. Drives financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, monitoring and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, operational processes, and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, communicating consistently, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Coordinates job‑related activities and assignments, builds relationships with key stakeholders, supports plans and initiatives, identifies and communicates goals, and measures progress while addressing improvement opportunities and promoting continuous learning. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and ethics by implementing action plans and supporting the Open Door Policy. Builds high‑performing teams that embrace differences, promotes a culture of belonging, and works collaboratively to create success for associates, customers, and stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training. For facilities that sell only ammunition, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Assignments to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
