Field Service Technician

Vacuum Instruments Corporation LLC located in Ronkonkoma NY is a designer and manufacturer of Leak Detection Equipment.

We have a position available to provide technical manufacturing repair service to our customer base within the USA as well as in house equipment repair.

This is not a computer repair role.

Compensation:

Base Salary range is from $26.00- $29/hour, depending upon qualifications and experience. Our Service Technicians typically earn approximately 3040% above their base pay through overtime, depending on customer demand, travel schedule, and hours worked.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Travel within the USA
• Inhouse customer support during non-traveling periods
• Installation of New Equipment
• Diagnostic & Repair
• Preventive Maintenance
• Customer Training
• Technical support via email & phone
• Completion of repair reports

Skills:

• Technical School or 2-3 years' experience or min of High School Diploma
• Electrical and mechanical experience preferred however we will train the right candidate
• Voltage meter operation
• Self-starter
• Dependable
• Speaks English with Spanish as a plus
• Maintain the legal right to work in the United States
• Vehicle
• Driver's License
