Join our vibrant team at Anna Maria Island Creamery Bakery as a Bakery and Ice Cream Shop Associate! This exciting role invites you to create delightful desserts and serve our beloved customers in a fun, beachside atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of baked goods and ice cream treats.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and kitchen areas.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure food quality and safety.
- Participate in special events and promotions to enhance customer experience.
- Previous experience in a bakery or ice cream shop is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Food handling certification is a plus.
- Passion for desserts and customer service.
