Jira DeveloperAustin, TX (Remote)6 months Contract with possibility to extensionProject:Migration of Jira (on-prem) projects (including workflows, forms, scripts, automations, notifications, permissions, and data) to the Jira (cloud) platform.Develop and implement enhancements for Jira Software (cloud) and JSM (cloud).Plans, develops, tests, and documents computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.Evaluates user request for new or modified program, such as for financial or human resource management systems, clinical research trial results, statistical study of traffic patterns, or analyzing and developing specifications for bridge design, to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities.Consults with user to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.Formulates plan outlining steps required to develop program, using methodologies such as structured analysis and design or object-oriented development.Candidate Skills and Qualifications:Years - Required/Preferred - Experience8 - Required - Atlassian Jira implementations (On-prem and/or Cloud)4 - Required - Data migrations - from Jira platform2 - Required - Adaptivist Scriptrunner (Cloud)2 - Required - Jira API Integration to external systemsOther Special Requirements:Jira (on -premise) migration to Jira cloud experience preferredExperience with Atlassian AccessPlugin knowledge (Scriptrunner JMWE, Email this issue, Extension for Jira Service Desk, Custom Charts)
