ICU Clinical Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in an ICU setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engages in professional development. Develops and documents individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families, while considering emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. Responsibilities Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs. Communicate and coordinate care plans across the continuum of care. Maintain a safe environment, adhering to safety protocols as a safety-sensitive role. Qualifications Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; BSN preferred. Licenses & Certifications: RN license required. Experience: No experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred.
