Here, you will make an impact by:Creating and maintaining a safe, healthy and sustainable workplace.Providing daily supervision and coordination of Contractor resources in support of the needs of our business partnersPlans and executes preventative maintenance activities on the facility and its equipmentIdentifying and supporting business efforts to drive improvement in equipment reliabilityProviding technical guidance to site personnel.Impacting through cost reduction programs, equipment effectiveness, and safety of work environmentCommunicate project or program status and results to stakeholdersYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution AND a minimum of three (3) years previous experience in a manufacturing environment in a private, public, government or military environment.ORHigh School Diploma or higher from an accredited institution AND a minimum of six (6) years previous experience in a manufacturing environment in a private, public, government or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Secondary Degree or higher in Engineering or related Technical Field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution preferred.Five (5) years of manufacturing maintenance/reliability experience in a private, public, government or military environment.Experience coaching, mentoring and developing Technicians as well as their peers and influencing higher levels of the organization.Experience with project management along with electrical or mechanical experience in manufacturing operations.Experience in managing contractors.Basic understanding of Environmental and Regulatory Compliance, NFPA, and OSHA standards.Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), Certified Maintenance Manager, Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional, RE or CAMA certification.Work location: Cordova, ILTravel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.U.S. Export Control laws and U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts and sub-contracts impose certain restrictions on companies and their ability to share export-controlled and other technology and services with certain "non-U.S. persons" (persons who are not U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., refugees, "Temporary Residents" (granted Amnesty or Special Agricultural Worker provisions), or persons granted asylum.To comply with these laws, 3M must help assess candidates' U.S. person status.The questions asked in this application are intended to assess this and will be used for evaluation purposes only.
