Your Responsibilities

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions in coordination with physicians or independently (according to your credentials)
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and management of diseases
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies based on your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
• Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive care
• Accurately documenting medical records using electronic systems (EMR)

Education Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a comparable specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
