- Executing thorough patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions in coordination with physicians or independently (according to your credentials)
- Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and management of diseases
- Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies based on your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
- Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive care
- Accurately documenting medical records using electronic systems (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Arizona
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a comparable specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
- Robust clinical judgment complemented by a warm bedside demeanor
- Superb communication abilities with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Flexibility in dynamic, patient-focused settings
- Proficiency in EMR platforms and skillful in telehealth applications
