Speech Language Pathologist, 0.5-1.0 FTE

Job Description The primary focus of this position is to assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallow function of patients suffering from diseases or injury. This role includes both inpatient and outpatient speech therapy services, as well as backup coverage for St. Croix Valley and Lakeview Hospital, including weekend and holiday call rotation. Opportunities or interest in pediatric OP services and special care nursery are welcomed. Work Schedule 1.0 FTE, with willingness to split into two 0.5 FTE positions. Weekdays between 8 am‑4:30 pm, one weekend on‑call per month from 8 am‑12 pm, and 1–2 holiday on‑call per year. Primary sites are Amery and western Wisconsin, supporting both outpatient and inpatient areas. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited program. Current Speech Language Pathology licensure in the States of Minnesota & Wisconsin. If both licenses are not present upon hire, must have at least one license from either MN or WI and must obtain the alternate state license within 6 weeks of hire. Must have a vehicle with auto insurance and a valid driver’s license and meet all criteria required under Lakeview’s Automobile Liability Guidelines. Current BLS – American Heart Association or BLS – American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider). CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) through ASHA (American Speech‑Language Hearing Association) within 18 months of hire. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of speech therapy experience.
