This dynamic role offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote positive outcomes for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or eligibility for School Psychologist licensure
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and consultation models
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments, interpreting data, and generating individualized recommendations
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and families
- Experience or interest in working with diverse student populations
- Adaptable, proactive mindset and commitment to evidence-based practices
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual evaluations to assess students’ cognitive, behavioral, social, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families in developing and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Provide counseling services and other mental health supports directly to students
- Serve as a resource for staff training, crisis intervention, and the promotion of safe learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the overall well-being and progress of the school community
