About the PositionOur client is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to support local operations in Phoenix. This is a home-daily, on-site opportunity with a temp-to-perm employment structure. The position involves no-touch, drop-and-hook freight using automatic-transmission tractor-trailer equipment.
Pay & Schedule- Pay: $25 per hour
- Additional $2 per hour safety bonus if approved
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Start time: Between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
- Hours per week: 40
- Home daily
- Employment type: Temp to perm
- Route type: Local
- Freight: General freight
- Load type: No-touch, drop and hook
- Equipment: Tractor-trailer with automatic transmission
- Work setting: On-site
- Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment
- Complete drop-and-hook operations
- Communicate professionally with the public
- Complete all required paperwork, reports, and other documentation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Work safely in all types of weather conditions
- Class A CDL
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Strong commitment to positive customer service
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
