Travel Occupational Therapist

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a hospital-based role providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment to a diverse patient population.

Job Details

• Hospital-based occupational therapy position,
• 8-hour shifts, with schedule potentially varying based on coverage needs,
• 40 hours per week,
• 13-week assignment length,

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an A.O.T.A. accredited program required, Master's degree highly desired,
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience required in a US hospital setting,
• Current Texas OT license required if applicable,
• BLS certification required (AHA only),
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required,

Additional Information

• Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team providing quality occupational therapy services,
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop age-appropriate treatment plans based on physician referrals,
• Accurately and thoroughly document patient treatment,
• Ability to respond effectively to new and changing work assignments,
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered,
• Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
