Marketing, Social Media, Events and Administrative Duties Intern

We are seeking help with Marketing, Social Media, Events and Administrative Duties all in celebration of our beautiful San Antonio River. The San Antonio River Foundation (SARF), the non - profit partner to the San Antonio River Authority, is looking for a talented college student to become the newest team member. An ideal candidate is interested in learning about the inspiring and multifaceted world of non - profits and shares our vision of stewardship of the San Antonio River Basin. SARF's ambitious projects range from creating opportunities for education, recreation, and interaction with nature along the river ; to initiating, funding, installing, and maintaining exciting urban art projects by renowned regional, national, and international artists. This will be a fantastic opportunity to work in your community and learn pieces of what it is like to work at a nature and community - based non - profit as well as execute multiple initiatives and events. What You'll Do:

• Create engaging and innovative content to share our mission across social media platforms.
• Design eye - catching visuals using Canva to communicate ideas effectively.
• Use your organizational skills to manage tasks and projects in Art, Ecology, Education & Recreation.
• Write professional and compelling newsletters to various stakeholders.
• Provide excellent phone support by answering calls with clarity and professionalism.
• Take initiative in identifying challenges and crafting your own solutions.
• Educate the public about environmental stewardship.
• Represent San Antonio River Foundation at public events such as Yoga, Farmer's Markets, Movie Festivals.

What We're Looking For:

• Applicant must be available at least one evening weekend day each week for program support on site at Confluence Park.
• A self - starter who thrives in an independent work environment.
• Someone with strong problem - solving skills and a knack for creative thinking.
• Experience using Canva is required; familiarity with Microsoft Suite, Notion and video editing is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive team member who can manage time effectively and doesn't need constant direction.
