Emergency Medicine physician employment in Pennsylvania :
Locums - A hospital in south-central Pennsylvania is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for ongoing coverage.
- BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician
- Start October 2026 for ongoing need; Oct-Dec 2026 approx. 24 shifts/week; Jan-July 2027 5 days on/5 days off; minimum 23 days/week availability required
- 9-hour shifts (7a3p, 11a8p, 3p12a, 10p7a)
- Procedures: moderate sedation, central lines, bedside ultrasound, nasotracheal intubation, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, rapid sequence intubation, laceration repairs, splinting
- 92% adult, 4% pediatric; approx. 12 patient arrivals/hour
- EMR: Epic
- Active Pennsylvania license required (IMLC not accepted); ACLS, ATLS, PALS, recent case logs required
