Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Processing Specialist to support payroll operations in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have experience processing payroll, resolving payroll-related inquiries, ensuring payroll accuracy, and meeting strict payroll deadlines while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time while reviewing employee time records and payroll data.
• Respond to payroll, tax, benefits, and timekeeping inquiries from clients or employees.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, tax issues, and payroll processing errors.
• Maintain employee payroll records and update payroll system configurations as needed.
• Assist with payroll adjustments, direct deposits, deductions, PTO, benefits, and tax updates.
• Support quarter-end and year-end payroll activities, including corrections and reporting.
• Prepare payroll reports, analyze payroll data, and troubleshoot processing issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments and third-party partners to resolve payroll-related concerns.
• Document client interactions and communicate updates professionally.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of payroll processing or payroll support experience .
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and payroll best practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and wage & hour laws.
• Experience supporting payroll-related products or services.
• Experience handling payroll reporting, reconciliations, and payroll corrections.

Additional Information

• Hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
