About the role Jackson Spalding is seeking enthusiastic digital interns to support a nationally recognized QSR client across social media community engagement and digital content publishing teams. You will manage audience engagement and inbound conversation on various social media channels; attract, delight and convert our audience into brand advocates and customers for our clients through one-off engagement opportunities; create, update and publish website content; and analyze, innovate and optimize using social media and digital tools, data and channel features.

Interns will experience the daily rhythm of agency client work. JS interns work side‑side with our professional team, attend client meetings and are responsible for projects that are assigned according to their level of experience and skill set. Internships are paid, typically three to six months in length, and may lead to full-time employment. What you’ll do Depending on your primary workstream(s), responsibilities may include: Participating on national account team(s) witha fun, fast paced, always on dynamic Creating top-notch customer and audience experiences across digital channels Managing all community engagement for various brand social channels Supporting social media listening, reporting and light data analysis to identify trends, audience insights and opportunities for optimization Supporting one-off engagement initiatives designed to delight and build relationships with brand audiences by identifying and coordinating opportunities sourced through social media and other channels Creating, updating and publishing website content within a digital content management system Contributing to content audits and other website optimization projects Supporting data and project tracking, reporting and analysis Participation in brainstorming and planning sessions Active involvement in day-to-day client work and project support Qualifications

INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:

Excellent writing and communication skills – social media copywriting experience is a plus Resourcefulness, strong attention to detail and organizational skills Adaptable with the ability to work well in both independent and team settings Basic time, budget, and project management skills with a preference for Asana skillsets Mid- to high-level knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Social media community engagement and platform management experience preferred – experience with Sprinklr is a plus Experience with e-commerce platforms preferred – familiarity with Shopify is a plus Knowledge of social media metrics, social listening, data analysis and reporting preferredSocial media strategy and management experience is a plus Experience with website content management systems and digital content publishing preferred – familiarity with WordPress is a plus Interest in social media, digital marketing, customer experience and emerging digital trends Familiarity with generative AI tools and curiosity for using AI to improve workflows and enhance the quality of work is preferred
