Koch Companies is looking for a skilled Diesel Technician II to join our Koch NationaLease team at our St. Paul, MN location. In this role, you ll perform advanced preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and complex repairs on both tractor and trailer units. You ll ensure all work meets DOT, state, federal, and company standards while maintaining accurate maintenance records and supporting inventory control. This position also plays a key role in developing junior technicians through on-the-job training. Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree in Heavy Duty Truck Technology or related field3 or more years of tractor maintenance experience What you ll be doing daily: Performing scheduled preventive maintenance and advanced repairs on tractors and trailersTroubleshooting and repairing systems across broad categories including: Powertrain and drivelineSuspension, steering and braking (air and hydraulic)Electrical and electronic systems, including ABS and collision mitigationHVAC and cooling systemsAftertreatment and exhaust systemsLiftgate systems (electrical, hydraulic, fabrication)Reefer systemsRoll up door componentsAPU systemsCompleting general repairs using hand tools, jacks, hoists, and specialized equipmentReading and interpreting manuals, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawingsOrdering necessary parts and supporting inventory managementMaintaining a clean, safe, and organized work areaMaking warranty recommendations and documenting all work accurately About Koch:Koch Companies is a family-owned, industry-leading organization comprised of several divisions, including Koch Logistics, United Trailer Leasing, Koch NationaLease, and Koch Trucking.
