Payroll Specialist: UKG & Multistate Expert (Hybrid)

Payroll Specialist- Hybrid Schedule Salary: $75,000–$85,000 Location: Columbus, OH - Hybrid 3 days/week in office Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Payroll Specialist to join their payroll team and manage bi‑weekly payroll processing. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to deepen their payroll expertise—particularly with UKG and multistate payroll . Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist: Process bi‑weekly payroll for 250+ employees , managing multiple payroll batches Prepare payroll‑related transactions, including reimbursements, PTO payouts, garnishments, and deductions Review and verify the accuracy of timecards, PTO, and all garnishment/deduction setups Secure Treasury approval and ensure accurate payroll funding Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and management, generate required reports, and maintain HRIS data integrity Preferred Experience for the Payroll Specialist: Hands‑on experience processing payroll using UKG Multistate payroll processing experience Experience with union payroll, certified payroll, or additional payroll complexities is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Financial Staffing, LLC
