About the Role:

Assisting Hands of Chicago North is looking for a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to join our dedicated team in Chicago, IL. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals who need support to live safely and comfortably at home. Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands to maintain a safe home environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
• Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional caregiving, home health aide, or CNA experience
• Genuine compassion, patience, and reliability when working with elderly or disabled clients
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed care plans
• Valid ID and ability to pass a background check
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client homes in the Chicago North area

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
